Another Blast From The Past

Three Dog Night made a career of making hits out of other artists songs and didn’t do too bad of a job of it. Not all of their songs were covers, but a fair amount were.

In this installment, we feature a couple of originals that were covered by them.

Here’s one such song that did pretty well for them, it made #7 in the U.S. and #4 in Canada. While the original didn’t fare nearly as well, I actually like this version much better:

TDN’s first Top Ten hit was written and sang by a legend in his own right. Harry Nilsson was one of the great songwriters of all time, and not a bad singer either.
