Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder

Or…… it loses you your audience.

Once again, I apologize for the blog absence. Mother-in-law is not doing well, she has been getting worse since the holidays. We are not sure how long she has, we just take it day by day and pray for the best. Meanwhile, it’s wait, wait, wait.

Trust me when I say, I will be back as soon as possible. There’s much to complain about.

Thanks for checking on me.

Hey, you’re living my life! I understand and will not desert you…I’ve had sporadic posting and blog visiting myself. Prayers for you and your mother-in-law. Take care, kiddo. šŸ˜‰

Speaking of hearts growing fonder…..Happy Valentine’s Day. So there….I forgot to say it to my husband so you got the first Valentine’s Day wish from me. You win the prize. I just got an e-mail that if I send in my social security number and bank account number I can help some poor Prince who lives in Africa to hide millions of dollars in my account and I will get to keep most of it. I’ll give it to you when I get it. šŸ˜‰

    • Mary Ellen, you can put a smile on someone’s face in a Chicago instant. Thanks kiddo. Hope all is well with you. We just have to take things one day at a time and be thankful for any good or halfway decent day, we get. Maybe it’ll get easier when spring gets here.

BTW, why the hell do we ever listen to that damned groundhog, anyway? It’s sooooooo cccccold, today.

    Miss ya, kiddo.

    • And she means it. Italians from Chicagoland always mean it šŸ˜‰

Soon I hope. Must clean out mother in law’s apartment this weekend, now that she is in Nursing Home. Stepson, wife, and baby just visited, and brought stomach bugs from CHICAGOLAND.

Ah, the stomach bug….went through our entire family, including 100 year old mother-in-law and my mom who ended up hospitalized because of it. I think we’re clear now…..it’s your turn.

Something we might have to inform our government who want to confinscate our guns. If they’re smart, they’ll take the canoli. ;-

Hey, I think I’m fond enough of you now. Come back! At least e-mail me let me know you’re ok.

    • Not to worry. Nunly. It will not be much longer.

My mother-in-law passed away 3 weeks ago. We are now cleaning out her apartment and settling up her affairs. I will be back very soon and believe me, there is much to bitch about.

      Thanks for thinking of me.

So sorry to hear about that. Good luck with the clean up…..oy. Oh…and Happy Easter when it gets here. šŸ˜‰
